La Goupiliere shares a garden with the owner's holdiday cottage. The building is built from the local, white limestone - 'tuffaud'. The cottage sleeps 4 in two bedrooms with a pull-out 'Z-bed' available. All linen is provided. Plenty of wardrobe/drawer space is available. There are stairgates at the bottom and top of stairs for child safety. A cot and a highchair are also provided. The cottage has its own garden area with a gate to provide a secure area for small children. The kitchen/dining room has a washing machine and dishwasher and all cutlery and crockery are provided. There is a comfortable sitting room with satellite, a TV/DVD player and a radio. Water, electricity and gas are inclusive. A barbeque is available. No pets are allowed. It is a few minutes walk to local shops: 2 bars, a boulangerie/patisserie, a general store and 6 restaurants including a creperie. It is a scenic 20 minute drive to Saumur (west) or Chinon (east), both beautiful towns with much to see.
